  1. The tingle isnt isolated to my spine! Captain Kirk was the original, if I remember correctly!
You dont stop surprising me, it seems to me you are anticipating my responses.

    • Perfect!
I might say something like telepathy but it’s either more like intuition or more like being energetically connected. After all, it’s pretty much wall to wall energy between you and me and everyone else. Imagine that? Anyways, if not anticipated then I can say that I defnitely look forward to reading all the comments on this site! 😀 ❤

  2. A new ship!? That thought deffo never struck me! My latest Dream took me to Jamaica, where I was working in a school filling out some kind of forms, which a woman asked me to deliver to some other Place. A man approached me and asked me to accompany him to the US, since he didn’t speak English!

  3. Will b ready to join a Dreamflight on 141115.
I did Dream also last week, and in my Dream I was in a spaceship, But I had been watching a lot of old Star Trek Enterprise episodes and the spaceship of my Dream suspiciously resembled the ship mentioned above, so I decided not to mention it, so…

  4. It’s interesting that you should bring this poem up. I had not heard it until just recently watching a new ww1 documentary on tv. This war is not very popular as a historical subject in my country, while ww2 and germany gets a lot of attention.

I understand this poem very well in some way. According to the documentary it was refering to a certain event. Some lower officer warned of a machine gun that the enemy had set up behind some trees, but his superiors didn’t listen because that is not how orders are given. They wanted to see it themselves to they sent 280 soldiers to attack over the frontline.

The soldiers were all from the same village and had never been in a battle before. All of them fell victim to the machine gun. The higher ups then said something like “yeah, it seems you were right, there really is a machine gun there, lets not attack here.”

This explains something very fundamental about the retardation of military thinking.

  5. Being Canadian, I used to hear this every November 11 at school assemblies. I often thought about the last lines, and how it seems to suggest that we’ll just keep fighting. But it doesn’t say that – the torch is the important thing about this poem… not the war.

  6. A clever play on words!

You know, once we run out of “nos” I may keep one or two in my back pocket, just so I can spell things like “no more ice cream, thanks, I’m full!”. 😀
