  1. Lots of sychronicity with you, the precious ones. Sorry for that I seem hit by or even drowned in such strong new moon waves, get too dizzy to read or write. It’s in fact the moment for us to send New Year’s greeting, however, I get more reluctent to do it owing to SAD or dizziness?!!!

The Pool posted by Troy should look so déjà vu…for the subterrenean rocky pool(s) seem somewhere which is used to occur in dreams. I tried recalling that Leslee just refered to, but only have a hazy memory. It’s to nice to have you here to help recall, getting more the precious past pieces of memory. Troy’s message left at February 5, 2019 @ 4:28 pm just reminded me of the film series of Kingsman I & II. My dear ones, watch them pls for they are that awesome !!!

Thanks for the logs sharings as above, I had some dreams which are quite personal and mostly have to do with sea or river shores.

Dear Sauternut(Alan), your prsence [energy signature] is indeed sensed, just like that Troy noted. This morning, right after waking up, thinking of the RESOLUTION, what occured to me is the image of Glastonbury Tor. What does it look like ???

Location: Somerset, England. Glastonbury Tor: (Avalon, The “Sacred Heart” of England) Grid Reference: 51° 09′ N, 2° 45′ W.

      Glastonbury Tor history

Glastonbury Tor is one of the most mythical places in Britain today. Glastonbury Tor rises like a beacon almost 500 feet above the Somerset plain. Remnants of an Iron Age settlement dating around 300-200 BC have been found. During this period, the Tor looked very much different than today.

It was once an island surrounded by fenland, a type of wetland. This meant that it was easily fortified and defended. Archaeologists have found Neolithic flint tools, suggesting that the tor has been visited or occupied throughout human prehistory.
      A legendary site

According to CELTIC mythology, Glastonbury Tor is said to be hollow, housing the kingdom of the lord of the wild hunt. According to legend his kingdom is populated by FAIRIES. Some people still to this day claim that the fairy king haunts Glastonbury Tor.

Remains of a 5th century fort have been found atop the Tor. Some sources claim that these are the remains of a Christian community founded by Joseph of Arimathea in 63AD, thus tying in with the beliefs that Glastonbury Tor is one of the possible resting places of the Holy Grail.Glastonbury has also been closely linked with the legends of King Arthur. In some texts he rescues Queen Guinevere from an evil knight holding her captive in the fort on top the Tor, other literary sources mention the fort as belonging to Arthur himself or being seized by him.

Most famous is perhaps the notion that Glastonbury Tor is the basis for the mythical isle of AVALON where Arthur is brought after his final battle to heal his wounds and await a time when his country will once again need him.

      The tower of today

The fort was later replaced by a medieval church, dedicated to ST MICHAEL. It remained intact until 1275 when a particularly powerful earthquake ruined it. A new church was built in 1360s to replace it. The second one lasted until 1539 when Henry the 8th carried out the dissolution of monasteries. This involved having the last abbot of Glastonbury, Richard Whiting, hanged on the top of the Tor, along with two of his monks. The tower that remains on top of the Tor is called ST MICHAELS TOWER and is all that remains of the second church. It has been restored in later days.

      Why visit Glastonbury Tor ?

Glastonbury Tor is one of the most mystical sites on whole United Kingdom. Looking down from the tower, visitors can se that the hill is made up of SEVEN TERRACESs. The reasons for the existents of these terraces have been debated. Some claim they have agricultural purposes for plantations or CATTLE gracing.

Others have put forth the theory that the terraces are in actuality defence structures. Another theory that ties well in with the tor´s mythical heritage is that the seven terraces make up a three dimensional labyrinth made in a remote past for ritualistic purposes. It would spiral around the Tor 7 times and eventually bring the worshiper up to the top where the tower now stands.

Looking out over the plains you can see for miles, and on a clear day you may even se as far as Cadbury Castle.

    • This painting represents a journey into the myths and legends of the Celtic otherworld, in the Celtic world nothing is ever straight, journeys go one way and then the other gradually working towards the centre and then back again, I used the labyrinth motif to represent this journey, if you follow the pathway it may take you from the depths of space to the path of the Sun & Moon, through the ancient pinewoods to meet the ferry man with his boat ready and waiting to take you to the underworld, you may even discover Cerridwen’s cauldron of inspiration. The ancient deer goddess Elen of the Ways stands in the center to guide you on your journey.

  2. Thank you saucernut for you spirit and perseverance! 🙂

Incidentally, I wanted to let you know that I was aware of your presence a couple weekends ago. Individual energy has a specific signature… I imagine this is similar to how dogs know people by their unique smell… (it’s not usually bad, unless someone carries around a lot of negative energy). Cottonwood, willow, maybe lemon there too. Sorry it is trying to describe energy in terms of flavor… doesn’t always translate very well.

  3. goldenExperience, that’s happened to me too – I’ve tried to take control but just get thrown out. So it sounds like what you did actually worked perfectly. 🙂 A quote that I try to remember is “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. These experiences can get personal. There’s many things I haven’t shared because they’re just for me.

I can only remember the start of my experience, which was sort of a waking dream. The room I was in was partially flooded and dark. I was surrounded by dim aqua-green light. It was a strange room with oak walls, with stairs under the water leading down into a submerged rocky cave. The room and water were warm. It may have been a shipwreck, but there was definitely water involved.

This image gives a good idea of the feel of the place – from Hotel Santa Domitilla in Rome. If that doesn’t come through here’s the link –

    • So I’m really going out there with this one, but Dreamwalker, the image you share reminds me of an inner earth location some of us tuned into years ago… Ring any bells for you?
The water is new… From what I recall, the entrance was down some steps and into an ice cave at one of the poles. And they had very strict security.
So the water and the whack to you and Golden may have been because they’re really pissed about melting glaciers…
It’ll be a few days before I have time to try to find those posts (I think they were from 2012 because they were before I went to CO)… but I’ll give it a shot it y’all remind me.
Cheers, and I guess we’d better start wearing pads on Dreamflights now!

      • Hi Leslee, I half-forgot about that polar entrance – thanks for the reminder! I didn’t have a sense of any angst or anger… rather I could enter but in that case I wouldn’t remember. This does suggest a destination I wasn’t expecting… good call!

I have to say the idea of a bathing suit sounds preferable to a parka any day…

One other “hint” – there are 2 ship-spirits in our roster now… I had a sense that they were aware of past wrongs and wished to atone for them, which is why they joined us. They even seemed eager to provide a quality experience… which I know from a zen perspective may be quite different from what we expect from a “pleasure cruise around the bay”… That being said, there’s definitely a desire to distance themselves from a brutal past. So…. I’m not sure what that means… ???

Expect to be pleasantly surprised by the unexpected?

I guess that would be a great message to find inside a fortune cookie… or a bottle… 😀

        • Hmmm, this “ship-spirits in our roster” intrigues me! Can you elaborate? Do you simply mean two of the ships that are sentient beings? This feels like it has some meaning for me, but I can’t place it. Damn I hate concussions… I’m so grateful you are all here! Even the spirit-ships, lol!

To ramble… for what it’s worth to anyone… the meanings of the words we use seem so much more fluid to me now. Things just run together, whether at work or at play or at sleep. It sucks from a memory standpoint, but I don’t mind the actual experience, once I let go of hoping things would be “like they used to be”. Makes it ever more unlikely that I will take any of the stuff we do here very literally, but that somehow makes it more attractive.

          • Not to worry dreamwalker, I truly understand. BTW, unbeknownst to me, so I have been told, that I have an extremely high energy signature, I sure wish I knew why this is so, or what I have this for? Thanks for the presence sighting note of a couple weeks ago, appreciate it. Maybe I’ll switch to ‘Right Guard’ to throw off the sent. lol

  4. I intended to join the Ceilidh and here was my experience from that attempt.

Tonight’s dream was a change of pace considerably to anything I have dreamt about for the last month or so, specially since I usually have 2-3 dreams when I sleep in so long but tonight was only 1 that could be remembered. It was a fake awakening in what was clearly supposed to be my current room despite the arrangement of the walls and furniture being slightly rearranged. I did the usual thing I do when I wake up and look at my phone which was acting incredibly wrong, best way to describe it would be if it had malware spamming adverts on it, just constantly buzzing and flashing. Alongside this there was an odd vibe in the room, it was quite dark despite waking up in what I assumed was the morning. It was after the phone acted weird and I looked around the room that triggered me to become lucid which seemed to be a mistake. Moment I was aware it was a dream I instantly felt the odd vibe and attempted to use the same mechanic I use in other not so positive dreams to make it either go away or stop, but that did absolutely nothing and I was simply flung against the wall super hard and the dream ended there. While this was something different to what I normally dream about, I don’t enjoy how personal it was and hope it was just a one off.

      • Not particularly, I was a bit alarmed as the night after I had another somewhat negative dream so I’m unsure what to make of them both. I’ll keep note of it and see how it compares to future experiences.

        • In case this helps, I was taught, and find it to be somewhat true, that “problems” like that are an indication of progress… Perhaps the ego fighting back 😉 Cheers, and hoping to see you in dream time soon!

  5. I set my intent on joining Ceilidh, and after hearing of the Resolution I decided I would first board Ceilidh to form a research party with some of its other visitors to then set off to investigate the Resolution.
I did have a dream experience but most of the details evade me. The feeling was different from anything in the past which tells me I indeed made it onto the Resolution, and I think the plan to go by Ceilidh and then return there for a summary worked out accordingly.
I only remember the “cartoony” feel of the ship, which felt like a watercolor painting of an 1800s indoors setting. In the last part before waking up, I remember looking at a list of people on what seemed like a tablet on the ship. A fixed wooden reading desk with a LED touch screen tablet instead of a book, intended for standing while reading. Maybe it was a log book. I checked the boxes next to the names and clicked “OK” to confirm, as if adding people to a members list. After this I felt “done” and woke up. I was not alone during the dream, which leads me to the conclusion some of the “locals” from Ceilidh indeed did come along.

  6. Honestly, the image of the sailing vessel has been haunting me for at least a whole week. Before seeing this Dreamflight invitation Picture for this week, I had already attracted to some related picture [of this kind of ship], but could not get anyone of them any more. Then, thanks to you the ones who have been expressing again your intent to board the GLS Ceilidh, besides, this term for me manifests some very specific vibration and color tone [of light-pink], I could not but google it. Owing to my background, I could not be ignorant more about it, without saying its cultural or lingustic ROOT. Now the story about this HMS Resolution then seems make more, even the eseential senses of the fragementary pieces of puzzles. I might have started being to attracted to this GLS thanks to Nils statement of willing to board this ship, thought this name had already been collected in the GLS list. However, I cannot recall it’s when. If anyone of you can help retrieve the initial time of this thread, pls never hesitate to recall any part of this story line.

With regards to the COLOR & GENDER of the GLS Ceilidh, I don’t know why, but has such a sense as it has much to do with tender PINK [the color that we can see on Makeitsoo’s gravatar], hence feminine to me. The picture as below to me seems to reflect some similar vibration to GLS Ceilidh.

Chasing the source of this term, I was so astounded for what it’s about….
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A8ilidh

    Etymology

The term is derived from the Old Irish céle (singular) meaning “COMPANION”. It later became céilidhe and céilidh, which means “VISIT” in Gaelic.[1] In Scottish Gaelic reformed spelling it is spelled cèilidh (plural cèilidhean) and in Irish reformed spelling as céilí (plural céilithe).

    History

Originally, a ceilidh was a SOCIAL GATHERING of any sort, and did not necessarily involve dancing.

The ‘ceilidh’ is a literary ENTERTAINMENT where STORIES and TALES, POEMS and BALLADS, are rehearsed and recited, and SONGS are sung, CONUNDRUMS are put, proverbs are quoted, and many other LITERARY MATTERS are related and discussed
    — Carmichael, Alexander, Carmina Gadelica, 1900, tome I, p. xxviii.[2]

The ceilidh of the Western Hebrides corresponds to the veillée of Lower Brittany […], and to similar STORY-TELLING FESTIVALS which formerly flourished among all the Celtic peoples
    — Wentz, W. Y. Evans, The Fairy-faith in Celtic countries, Oxford University Press, 1911, p. 32.

On long, dark WINTER NIGHTS it is still the custom in small villages for FRIENDS to COLLECT in a HOUSE and hold what they call a “CEILIDH” (pronounced kay’lee). Young and old are entertained by the reciters of old POEMS and LEGENDARY STORIES which deal with ANCIENT BELIEFS, the doings of TRADITIONAL HEROS and HEROINES, and so on. Some sing old and new SONGS set to old MUSIC or new MUSIC composed in the manner of the old.
    — Mackenzie, Donald A., Wonder tales from Scottish myth and legend, 1917, p. 14.[3]

In more recent decades, the dancing portion of the event has usurped the older meanings of the term, though the tradition of guests performing music, song, story telling and poetry still persists in some areas.

Ceilidhs were originally hosted by a fear-an-tigh, meaning “man of the house”. This is still the form in Ireland, though otherwise in modern ceilidhs the host is usually referred to more simply as “Host” or “Master of Ceremonies”.[4]
    Modern cèilidhs

    ……

Dancing at cèilidhs is usually in the form of cèilidh DANCES, set dances or couple dances. A “Set” consists of four to eight couples, with each pair of couples facing another in a SQUARE or RECTANGULAR formation. Each couple exchanges position with the facing couple, and also facing couples exchange partners, while all the time keeping in step with the beat of the music.

However, about half of the dances in the modern Scots cèilidh are couples’ dances performed in a RING. These can be performed by fixed couples or in the more sociable “progressive” manner, with the lady moving to the next gentleman in the ring at or near the end of each repetition of the steps. In Ireland, the similar style of dance is called céili dance or fíor (true) céili dance. Some of the dances are named after famous regiments, historical battles and events, others after items of daily rural life. The “Gay Gordons”, “Siege of Ennis”, “The Walls of Limerick” and “The Stack of Barley” are popular dances in this genre.

Step dancing is another form of dancing often performed at cèilidhs, the form that was popularised in the 1990s by the world-famous Riverdance ensemble. Whereas Set dancing involves all present, whatever their skill, Step dancing is usually reserved for show, being performed only by the most talented of dancers.

GE11 – Ceilidh Dancing – The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry

The cèilidh has been internationalised by the Scottish and Irish DIASPORAS in Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, where local cèilidhs and traditional music competitions are held. In recent years, cèilidh and traditional music competitions have been frequently won by descendants of emigrants.

It bears mention that ceilidhs are common throughout Nova Scotia. The tradition and the spirit of these gatherings are carried on in most small communities of these maritime provinces.

Something which was not seen in English version, but interests me a lot in the French version of wiki, I quote “Le mot est MASCULIN en irlandais (un céili) mais FÉMININ en gaélique écossais (une cèilidh),” which means the word is MASCULIN in Irish (céili), however FEMININE in Scotish Gaelic.
    https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A9il%C3%AD_(bal)
So, the Scotish version seems to resonate more the GLS Ceilidh that I can sense.

This kind of dance should lead me to Saint Andrew’s Day…..

    Then….the Cross….

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Andrew%27s_Day

Another gift shown in this thread/synchronicity…

This thread is not finished yet here, for there are some more synchronicity with HMS Resolution in the mid-1700s. I was just watching a series of soap show, a British drama of the background of 1700s. Pls tell me more stories about…pls….

To Alan(Saucernut2), as you, I’ve been so attached to GLS Athabanthian. As to my stories about, I hope I can tell it some other day. So, this intent just not only means so much, but also already tells…

The last two days, I kept having dreams about school, movement, bridges. One seemed to happen in 1960s-1980s, about some Russian teachers’ visit to our school, obviously in some other timeline or reality. Pls allow me to finish this comment here, hoping all have great dream flights gathering !!!

  7. I intend to join the Resolution… it was “screaming” at me (incessantly bugging me) to include it, so include it, I did. 🙂 The drawing in this week’s post is supposedly of the HMS Resolution in the mid-1700s. For anyone who wants to join, there’s a book on a stand with the word “Helped.” on every page, with a pen next to it. What you write in the book is your password for the upcoming dreamflight. I will report back on my findings – if there are any!
