This is such a wonderful post dear Jason!!! I so resonate with it all!!! I am thrilled and delighted for you !! Such a wonderful experience it must be! I wish you a wonderful continuation in peace and love 🙂 xoxoxoxo
Thanks Laura.
Sometimes I feel bad I don’t get online and keep up with the blogs as much, but since arriving in Pagosa, things have changed. I have found myself in a community of flesh and blood humans that think like I do, in the middle of the most beautiful, natural playground I have ever seen. Exchanging ideas with others in person, watching videos together, having meetings together is fulfilling in a way I can’t describe in words. I am even surrounded by awakened souls at home and work. It’s great! Then, when I’m not surrounded by like-minded others, I find myself wandering up Resevoir Hill to watch a sunset, or climbing Pagosa Peak, spending time with my dog Zoe, or soaking in the natural hot springs where I work. Working outside next to the San Juan river among the beautiful setting of The Springs Resort is also an amazingly uplifting and healing experience.
I now realize I could have been spending time outside, connecting with myself and nature all along, wherever I was.
The time for sitting in front of my computers all day served it’s purpose beautifully, however the time for “disconnecting” from media has come for me. Leslee and I decided not to get cable, so my computer monitors and tv are becoming vehicles for Netflix late night movies when it’s too cold and dark to be outside. I am also reading a lot of physical books, which I also like to do outside.
I have found that for me, life has become much happier and more fulfilling when I step away from the keyboard and go outside with nature and other people. Love is everywhere out there, I just had to open myself up to receive it, and realize I deserve to be happy for no particular reason, just because I Am.
