It is our pleasure to introduce you to a new concept in banking, the Bank of One. The features of this bank include the following:
- We do not deal directly with corporations or governments, other than to satisfy legal and regulatory requirements.
- Only one account is allowed per customer.
- Your initial starting balance is an infinite value, which you may convert directly into other global currencies for your personal use (note that this is how all banks operate today).
- Your account functions as a hybrid checking/debit card.
- Initially, we can not handle “cash” or “paper check” transactions. Only electronic transactions are available.
- Your transactions will not initially impact the value of local currencies. This is because the availability (stock) of this paper money is not impacted.
- Each customer will be given the opportunity through our website to donate money to organizations and companies, as they see fit. Organizations may also register for funding through our website.
- The Bank of One does not lend money. We facilitate our customers’ actions through our online presence.
- There is no charge for our service, but you may choose to donate to The Bank of One to support our service.
- The customer is personally and legally responsible for all actions carried out by his or her account.
- The customer’s privacy and protection is our highest priority.
- The Bank of One operates as a non-profit organization.
- The Bank of One does not condone slavery in any form, including economic slavery.
We look forward to welcoming you as our customer.
Sincerely,
The Bank of One
Hey Troy… Heather has announced that the next step in exactly this has been perfected and 31 folks in Morocco took it to the folks in contrast on the 6th. She mentions that the folks that she took the concept to were pretty excited to participate rather than be rendered moot.
Some details here… more to come…

Awesome news! Thanks for sharing this link, John – I enjoy their broadcasts. I know we just need to give them time to do what they do best. At some point, everything will fall into place. Take it easy, bud! π
I thought of this concept some time last year- a non-profit bank. Shouldn’t be too hard to do, what with online banking. Certainly if the RV starts you’ll have capital and customers. I worked for a retail bank, a financial advising firm, and a mortgage processor before switching to education and entrepreneurship. This concept is destined to come into being sometime between now and the end of money.

That’s very interesting Greg – you must have some neat stories about the banking system. π It’s a concept that they’ve suggested rolling into Project XIII, but I haven’t really seen much in the way of talk about it. It’s the 800-pound gorilla in the room, and I wanted to write the idea down to see what it looked like. I felt it was “time” to get it out there. I think there’s going to need to be some kind of transition process because people want to hold on to old ways of doing things.
Our current system isn’t working – even down to how the size / cost of our house tends to place us higher or lower than someone else. Really? I have changed my thinking to pity people who would think they need to have a several-million-dollar mortgage, because it is a debt slavery. If I lose my job, then I stand to lose my home, and then I cannot buy food. So a company that fires me from my job should be held accountable for pre-meditated murder… π If I retire, will I have enough to support myself? Who cares, right?
It’s just a dumb system all around.
Just a thought experiment at this point. π
